Founded in 1954 in Cittadella by Angelo Gabrielli, Gabrielli S.p.A. started as a small warehouse for steel bars, tubes, and sheets and has since grown into Italy’s second-largest steel service centre.
Today, the company operates three specialized divisions—Coils, Heavy Plates, and Long Products—processing and distributing around 500,000 tonnes of steel per year.

The Core Challenge
Gabrielli operates several cut-to-length lines, some newly built and others revamped from existing systems. Years ago, the need emerged for a solution that could make these machines as autonomous as possible — managing the entire process from cutting to packaging with minimal operator intervention.

Our Solution
For their five cut-to-length lines, we developed a tailored vertical integration of the new Bridge platform. The system autonomously retrieves orders from Level 3 (ERP) and sets machine parameters based on the required production quantities. It also manages multi-package stacking and displays all key process information directly on screen.

Key Benefits
